Introduction and Features of MEMENTO FIRMWARE
MEMENTO
is a SOFTWARE PLUG & PLAY solution that allows the
possibility of using Back-Up copies of your games with
your PS2 without the need of "opening" the PS2
to install a Modchip inside it.
This
solution has many advantages in respect to traditional
Modchips solutions:

DOES
NOT INVALIDATE THE PS2 GUARANTEE!
No need to open the PS2, so your guarantee is always
valid!

IS
PORTABLE!
You
can remove it from your PS2 and use it into your
friend PS2 or into
a completely NEW PS2 without the
need to do any change or extra work!

UNIVERSAL!
It
can be used in ANY PS2 model from V3 model
(SCPH-3000x) to the
latest V16 model
(SCPH-7900x), USA/PAL/Australia systems!

Requirements.
-
Prior
to be able to use the Memento Firmware as a modchip for
your PS2 you will need some HARDWARE requirements and to
download some SOFTWARE.
Harware
needed:
1) One MEMOR32 Memory Card.
2) One mini USB Cable (same like PSP cable).
3) One PC
computer with at least one USB (preferable USB2.0)
port available.
 
If you want to use
the USD-HDD option of the Memento Firmware, you will also
need a USB Hard Drive where to save the game images.
Software
Needed:
To install and use all the features
and the posibilities of the Memento Firmware you will need
to download the following softwares:

Chapter3.
Important Notes.
If you just received the MEMOR32
Memory card:
-
DO
NOT connect the MEMOR32 memory into your PC USB port before installing the
MEMOR32 USB drivers.

Create
a system recovery point before install anything.
-
Make
sure you have sufficient space in your Hard Disk
before proceed, at least 10G to install all necessary
programs and create the ISO images to enable them to
work on the Memento Firmware.

Make
sure you are using NTFS file system, because FAT32
cannot handle large files
