Chapter2.
CREATING A MEMENTO DISK (PATCHING
DISKS).
To
enable MEMENTO FIRMWARE to authomatically start the
back-up games of the disks when you insert them into the
PS2, we need to create a MEMENTO DISK IMAGE.
Go
to the folder where you decompressed the MEMENTO
firmware and locate the MEMENTO DISC PATCHER program:

Duble
click it to run, this window will be shown:

Now
click on the PATCH ISO IMAGE and locate the ISO (or
.NGR) file you have created from your Original Game (SEE
SECTIONxx.ss):

It
takes less than 2 seconds to and in a flash the ISO is
patched:

If
you try to repatch it or patch another already patched
image, this warning will be shown:

On
both cases press OK to dismiss the window. To close the
program, press the X on the upper right corner of the
MEMENTO DISC PATCHER window.
Chapter3.
CREATING A MEMENTO DISK (PATCHING

After
the ISO file of the game has been converted to a MEMENTO
compatible ISO (see previous chapter), we can burn it to a
DVD-R. Open IMGBURN (or similar software like Nero)
and on the MODE menu select WRITE:

Next,
on the source section, click the folder icon to choose
which image you want to load to burn, in our case the
previously converted ISO:

After
the image is loaded, insert a BLANK DVD-R in your DVD
Writer and wait some seconds. The program will get the
info on the disc and you can start burning the ISO.
It
is a good practice burn the DVD-Rs in half of its maximum
speed. Although, if possible burn every ISO at 4x. To
start burning, click the big button with the icons of a CD:

The
process begins and, for a full ISO size, the estimated
time is about 15 minutes at 4x speed:

If
no problems were found, the process end in a successful
burned ISO:
TESTING

Ps2
games on CD must be burned on DVD-R in order to make them
